DANA PARK

Denise Bergman's poem Red recognizes the communities of Cambridgeport's late-nineteenth-century slaughterhouse and soap factory workers. It is one of a series of Keyhole Poems about her Cambridge neighborhood that wedge historical images of specific places into the present.

The first line of Red is part of a permanent public art installation, designed by artist John Powell, in Dana Park, Cambridge, MA.
